Five Major Releases To Look Forward To
2022 will be a good year for Hip Hop and R&B releases. Not everyone has given a release date but these five albums have been announced for this year.
Ye officially announced his follow-up to Donda, entitled “Donda 2” which will be coming February 22 or 2.22.22. The album will be executive produced by Future. Rihanna has been focused on business in the past few years and hasn’t released since 2016. However, she has her R9 album coming soon this year. Kendrick Lamar announced that his new album will be his last album to release on TDE. Lamar has been working on his own company, which signed Baby Keem, so he may release future projects on his own pgLane imprint. SZA will also be coming with her sophomore effort this year as well as Frank Ocean set to release new music, currently untitled.
