fat joe Fat Joe is suing his accountants after claiming he lost over $300k in an alleged Ponzi scheme. He claims they misappropriated funds under his and his wife’s names and used the accounts of several MLB players to cover their tracks. After Joe’s CPA, Andre N. Chammas, fired his assistant Vanessa Rodriguez, the rapper claimed to notice several irregularities in how his business account was being handled. He noticed several AMEX accounts opened under his wife’s name. The credit cards were used to make large purchases including tuition payments for Rodriguez’ daughter and $40,000 in combined Uber and Uber Eats charges. Fat Joe also realized several of his business entities were missing large deposits. His company, Sneaker Addict Touring, was missing over $300,000. He believes the company tried to cover its tracks by running a Ponzi scheme that involved several baseball players.
