Fat Joe & Remy Ma won in a lawsuit filed against them in 2019 for their hit “All The Way Up.”
Eric “Fly Havana” Elliott sued them claiming he wasn’t properly paid for his contribution to the record. A judge reportedly ruled in favor of Fat Joe and Remy Ma after deciding that Elliott was properly paid $5000 at the time the song was released and he had signed away his rights. “All The Way Up” peaked at #27 on the Hot 100 chart and spent 20 weeks in the rankings. The song also earned two Grammy nominations.
