Drake Pledges $1 Million To “I Promise School”
Drake has pledged to donate $1 million to the Lebron James Family Foundation’s “I Promise School.” The pledge is part of a partnership with Stake, a cryptocurrency gambling platform. Drake previously announced he would be donating money with his winnings from the company during their rollout. He and Lebron James also gifted $100,000 to the family of a high school player basketball player, Michael Evbagharu. Evbagharu plays for the Royal Crown Academy. Drake promised to deliver the million personally to Lebron’s school before the end of the school year. I Promise School is located in Lebron’s hometown, Akron, Ohio. They serve at-risk youth, and every student who graduates is offered free tuition to the University of Akron or Kent State University.
