Drake & 21 Savage “Her Loss” Debuts At No. 1
Drake and 21 Savage scored the biggest hip-hop release of the year with their new album, Her Loss. The album also marked the fourth-largest streaming week ever for any album. It is Drake’s 12th album to debut at No. 1 and 21 Savage’s third. Her Loss hit 404,000 equivalent album units and had the biggest week in the R&B/Hip-Hop category since Drake released Certified Lover Boy in September of last year. The next biggest project of the year was Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” and it opened with over 100,000 units less at 295,000. Drake’s album, “Honestly, Nevermind” debuted at 204,000, nearly half of “Her Loss.” After this release, Drake is now in third place for most No. 1 albums on Billboard, behind Jay-Z and The Beatles.
