DJ Envy Settles Coachella Lawsuit
DJ Envy settled his lawsuit with Coachella over the use of the name “Carchella.” Envy banned from associating with any event with “-chella” in the title. According to Allhiphop.com, Envy settled after being sued for the name of his car show, which is a play on the “Coachella” brand. Coachella allegedly claimed Envy ignored requests to change the name and filed a lawsuit for trademark infringement. Envy avoided a costly trial by settling the case, and both sides agreed to cover their own expenses related to the settlement.
