DJ Drama To Produce “White Men Can’t Jump” Reboot Soundtrack
In addition to his Gangsta Grillz series and Generation Now, DJ Drama is expanding to include producing movie soundtracks. Drama will produce the soundtrack for the White Men Can’t Jump reboot. According to Collider, who spoke with Kenya Barris, reaching out to DJ Drama for the project made sense considering Jack Harlow is cast in the film. “I think msuic is emotion, and we want to bring back big music to movies and make you feel like that’s just as much a part of the movie as the movie itself,” Barris said. Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls will play the lead roles held by Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes in the 1992 original. Filming is underway but the remake does not currently have a release date yet.
