Diddy Invests $2 Million To Help Philly Creatives
Diddy is helping Philadelphia creatives accomplish their dreams with a $2 million donation to the Resources for Every Creator (REC). The goal of the REC is to help content creators go from idea to commerce. Will Toms and Dave Silver, two alum of Forbes 30 Under 30, are the founders of REC. They describe it as, “an ecosystem designed and dedicated to providing creative people with the resources, communities, and opportunities to pursue their passions and entrepreneurial goals.” REC Philly has over 1000 active members with access to a 10,000 sq ft creative facility, educational programming, and a pool of creatives to network with. The company has brand partnerships with Live Nation, Comcast, Cash App, WXPN, WSFS Bank, Amuse, Red Bull, T-Mobile, Ballard Spahr, and Temple University.
