Chance the Rapper Open to Collaborating with Peppa Pig for His Daughters’ Happiness
In a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Chance the Rapper expressed his willingness to collaborate with children’s cartoon character Peppa Pig to bring joy to his daughters, Kensli, seven, and Marli, three.
Host Seth Meyers asked the rapper whether his daughters enjoy his music. Chance responded, “Yeah, they do like my music. They’re really, they’re more into, like, Peppa Pig and their contemporaries. But, like, I have a few songs that they’ll listen to.”
Chance, who shares his children with wife Kirsten Corley, mentioned that his daughters particularly enjoy his 2019 track “Let’s Go on the Run.” However, he admitted he has to be cautious when selecting songs for his kids due to the content.
Seth later asked Chance if he would consider collaborating with Peppa Pig to gain the affection of his girls. The 30-year-old rapper enthusiastically responded, “Peppa, if you’re listening right now, like, I’m trying to work or at least get some autographs for my kids. Shoutout to Peppa Pig.”
During the conversation, Chance also reminisced about the 10-year anniversary of his mixtape “Acid Rap” and shared memories of performing in high school parking lots in Chicago before achieving fame.
