Cardi B To Pay Funeral Costs For Bronx Fire Victims
Cardi B has pledged to cover funeral costs for victims of the Bronx apartment building fire.
17 people died in an apartment fire in the Bronx earlier this month. Cardi is also partnering with the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. In a press release, Cardi said “I’m extremely proud to be from the Bronx and I have lots of family and friends who live and work there still. So, when I heard about the fire and all of the victims, I knew I needed to help.” Mayor Eric Adams released a statement that he is grateful for Cardi B. He thanked her and New Yorkers always there for each other in a time of need. In addition to Cardi, there have been fundraising efforts from Fat Joe, Awake NY and No Company.
