Cardi B responded to critics about her album that hasn’t been released yet. She announced that she would include her singles, “WAP” and “Up” on her next album. The songs were released in 2020 and 2021. Some fans were not thrilled to find out the news. One fan wrote, “I blame the streaming era. Artists just do this to get certifications for their album. I don’t like it.” Adding preexisting tracks actually doesn’t count toward first-week sales. The user deleted her tweet but Cardi got wind of it and was unhappy. She criticized the people who criticize her when other artists have also used songs from before the pandemic. Cardi also said, “Imagine my biggest song not being on a album.”
