Cam’Ron Discusses Turning Down Dipset Movie
Cam’Ron recently revealed movie studios offered to make a Diplomats movie, but he turned it down. During the celebration for the 20th anniversary of his third album, Come Home With Me, Cam’Ron did a Q&A session with media personality Wayno. Cam said companies have approached him about a Dipset movie but could never make the numbers make sense. He said they would attempt to give him 10-15% of movie proceeds to tell his story. Cam’Ron decided he would rather use his own money to film the movie and have the film companies distribute it for 10 percent. In addition to the interview with Wayno, Cam performed a concert to commemorate the album.
