Bobby Shmurda Says Album Is Done, Wants Off Label
Bobby Shmurda used Instagram to vent about his frustration with Epic Records, comparing it to still being locked up.
Shmurda said his new album is done and he’s ready to release and move on. He mentioned being frustrated that he’s been signed to the label since 2014 and and six of those years he was in jail. He also wanted people to know it was “not a cry for help” but instead just a mesage to fans who have been waiting on new music. Bobby Shmurda signed with Epic Records in 2014 and saw success until he spent six years in prison. He was released from prison one year ago in February 2021.
