Blue Ivy Carter Receives Her First Gold-Certified Singles
Blue Ivy Carter received her first RIAA-certified Gold singles at only ten years old. The daughter of Beyonce & Jay-Z is listed as a featured artist on tracks like “Blue” from the Beyonce album. She also appeared on “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack. The Recording Industry Association of America recently certified both songs as Gold (500,000) units earning Blue her first two Gold Awards. “Brown Skin Girl” won Best Music Video at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony in 2021, giving Blue her first Grammy as well.
