Black Thought Becomes General Partner In Venture Capitalist Firm
Black Thought has been appointed as a general partner at Impellent Ventures, an equity-centric venture fund. He released a statement, “I’ve been keeping an eye on the industry and looking for new ways to invest and diversify my portfolio. I also get to see a lot of investment opportunities before anyone else does because of what my brand means to founders.” Impellent Ventures distinguishes itself from other venture capital organizations by focusing on “uplifting startups through an emphasis on mentorship courtesy of proven investors and successful business mavens from companies such as Paychex, Android, LinkedIn, DraftKings, Google, and more.” The company hopes that the inclusion of Black Thought will help bring more artists in the space to their business.
