“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” Sets November Box Office Record
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had a big debut weekend at the box office opening with an estimated $180 million in North America. It is the second biggest opening weekend of 2022 right behind Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which hit $187 million in May. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever also broke the record for highest-grossing debut in November. The previous champion was The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013 which opened at $158 million. The original Black Panther movie was released in 2018 and made $700 million domestically with a worldwide total of $1.38 billion. Black Panther is currently the 14th highest-grossing movie of all time.
