Afeni Shakur Biopic In The Works
A new biopic is in the works based on the life of Afeni Shakur. The biopic will cover her time with the Black Panther party, her arrest in 1969 and being pregnant with Tupac Shakur.
The film is titled “Peace, Love & Respect: The Afeni Shakur/Panther 21 Story.” It will be executive produced by Jasmine Guy and others in conjunction with Amaru Entertainment and the Shakur Estate. Jasmine Guy was also the author of Afeni Shakur’s authorized biography. As of right now, no other details surrounding the release have been confirmed.
