50 Cent’s Ex-Employee Owes $6 Million For Embezzlement
Mitchell Green, a former employee of Sire Spirits, which is co-owned by rapper 50 Cent, has filed for bankruptcy, owing the rapper $6 million after being found to have embezzled over $2 million from the company.
According to court documents, Green had been ordered to pay $6 million to 50 Cent as part of a settlement agreement after being accused of embezzling the funds. The bankruptcy filing is an attempt by Green to discharge the debt and move on from the financial obligations.
The case between 50 Cent and Green dates back to 2018 when the rapper publicly accused Green of stealing money from the company. 50 Cent posted a picture of Green’s house on Instagram with a taunting message, saying he would keep the property and family photos as payment for the stolen funds.
