21 Savage Honored With Day In Atlanta
December 21 is officially “21 Savage Day” in Georgia following the rapper’s fourth annual Grant-A-Wish event. The event was held in Stone Mountain, Georgia. 21 invited 100 local families to the Christmas celebration, giving aways gifts and snacks, mingling with guests, and signing some of the children’s toys. Georgia state representative Billy Mitchell presented 21 Savage with a proclamation in recognition of his philanthropic work. In 2018, 21 Savage launched the Bank Account Campaign which teaches financial literacy to youth along with scholarships, bank accounts, and job placements. Last year, 21 partnered with Chime to give away 100 $1000 scholarships to high school students who completed the Bank Account at Home’s six-course online program.
