Drake Honors Fan Who Recently Passed Away In A Major Way
Article By: Ashia Skye
Drake recently met a fan through the Make a Wish foundation, who unfortunately passed away due to an undisclosed illness. The Toronto rapper is now mourning her loss, but still celebrating her memory.
On November 4, Drizzy posted a photo of himself with the young lady, along with a heartfelt caption. “We built a genuine bond you would text me and check on me while I was on tour and tell me positive things and share your dreams and goals,” he wrote.
In addition to the Instagram post, he decided to honor her again while on tour. This Tuesday, before his Aubrey and the Three Migos tour stop in Vancouver, he revealed that he had his staple white vest embroidered with the letter “K” in memory of the fan, Kay The Queen.
Drizzy took to Instagram to show off the new golden initial on the garment. “Got you with me every night now @the.kaydiaries.” he wrote. Check out the heartfelt triute below.

Gonna miss you a whole lot. We met through make a wish and we built a genuine bond you would text me and check on me while I was on tour and tell me positive things and share your dreams and goals. I am crying in this pic but it was tears of joy cause we just prayed for you with your father. I am sorry I missed your text on my birthday that’s eating my soul right now but you know how much I loved you and was looking forward to seeing you after tour. I don’t know why I am writing this on IG I just need to get it out cause it’s sitting heavy on my heart. Will remember you forever K! 😢💙 @the.kaydiaries
