Disney Plus’s Emmy-nominated original series “The Mandalorian” is returning the streaming service on Oct. 30, 2020. On Tuesday, Disney released Season 2’s official trailer. The description reads: “The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.” The voiceover in the trailer mentions exciting new characters and tidbits of the upcoming season, including Jedi sorcerers. The popular “Baby Yoda” (AKA The Child) appears in the trailer as well. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez.
