Dave East was forced to cancel an after party event in Boston late last week, after allegedly receiving death threats. According to East’s Instagram Stories, the owner of Icon Nightclub on Warrenton Street claimed he fielded two anonymous phone calls from someone threatening to shoot the Harlem-bred rapper.
Dave said:
“The club owner to Icon in Boston said he got 2 anonymous phone calls that they was gone shoot me tonight lol so they ain’t let me in the club.”
Dave is currently performing shows in support of his new 20-track album
Survival, which arrived earlier this month, featuring guest appearances from Nas, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Gunna, Lil Baby, Ty Dolla $ign and DJ Premier, among others.
