Daddy Yankee Daddy Yankee has announced he will retire from music with a farewell tour and final album. He will release “Legendaddy,” his first new studio album, in 10 years. Daddy Yankee will release his last album on March 24th at 8 p.m. ET. He will kick off his five-month tour on August 10th and run through December. Pre-sale tickets will go live on March 25th, and general public sales will follow on March 30th. Daddy Yankee exploded on the scene in 2004 with the reggaeton hit, “Gasolina.” He currently has six No. 1’s on the Top Latin Albums chart, 76 entries on Latin Airplay, and 86 on Hot Latin Songs.
