D.L. Hughley collapsed onstage while performing in Nashville over the weekend. He was rushed to a nearby hospital. Someone in the audience captured it on video. A rep for Hughley offered an update, saying, “D.L. collapsed on stage last night during his second show in Nashville. He was suffering from exhaustion after all the week’s work and travel, and was kept overnight at the hospital for tests under doctor’s orders. He is awake and feeling better, and wishes to thank everyone for the very kind prayers and thoughts.” D.L. posted a video thanking everyone for their well-wishes, saying that he was treated for exhaustion and extreme dehydration, and also tested positive for COVID-19. He then stated that he was asymptomatic, “which means I didn’t have any of the classic symptoms.” Hughley will quarantine for 14 days at his hotel.
