Meek Mill officially has his own weekend in his hometown of Philadelphia. Darrell L. Clarke made a city-wide proclamation on Thursday morning (March 14), with festivities that last through Saturday (March 16). This announcement is expected to be followed by a statewide-proclamation by Pennsylvania State Senator Sharif Street, according to a report by ABC Philadelphia. During his  acceptance speech, Meek expressed his gratitude for the  prestigious honor.
