With his last video “This is America” being so critically acclaimed, Childish Gambino had some pretty big expectations to live up to. Childish Gambino defintely hit the target, and did not dissappoint with the release of his newest (animated) video, “Feels Like Summer”. The creative animation includes appearances from Gambino himself, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, and more.

First, the video starts out with Chilish Gambino walking down his block in the summer time. As he strolls down the street, he sees a slew of familiar faces. First he spots the Migos playing a game of basketball. Next we see Drake and Future on a fun bike chase. Then we spot Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott, who have had public tension recently, playing with blocks. Nicki and Travis seem to be getting along until Trav pulls out a block and ruins their game. Nicki is angered.

After Childish Gambino finishes strolling the block, he finally comes to the conclusion that nothing will change. It feels like it is up to the viewer to interpret what that means. With appearances from the biggest names in the game and amazing visual animation, this one is defintely an interesting watch.
