Cardi B Portrays Coretta Scott King In New Comedy Sketch

Cardi B has had an incredible 2018 and continues to expand her repertoire of performing. Her latest perfomance comes in the form of a comedic acting role. Cardi B plays the role of Civil Rights leader Coretta Scott King in the spoof sketch The Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement. The sketch will appear on a show called Off The Rip.
Women portraying the roles of Rosa Parks, the wife of Reverend Jesse Jackson, and the wife of Malcolm X, join Cardi in the skit. The skit revolves around the women planning a rally. The women start to disagree once Coretta begins to take charge in the planning. Next, the woman who is playing Betty Shabazz , proceeds to call Dr. King a “hoe”. Then Corretta (played by Cardi) retorts. “All the hussies wanna sleep with my husband, but it’s alright, ’cause I know he marches home to me.”
Rip Michaels (the show’s creator) hasn’t announced where the show will be officially airing yet. He did however, comment on Cardi B and her comedic ability. “To see Cardi in a comedic light is amazing because she’s way, way funnier.”
