According to reports from the Blast, Birdman is looking to settle the 10 million dollar lawsuit from former Young Money artist, Tyga. Earlier this year, Tyga sued Young Money and Cash Money for unpaid royalties. T-raw claims that the label didnt pay him royalties for his Careless World and Hotel California albums.
Tyga also claimed that he reached out to the label several times to ask for payment, but to no avail. Next, he filed the lawsuit for breech of contract and asked for 10 million in damages. As of October 1st, Birdman asked for an extension of time to respond to the suit. He stated that he needed an “extension of time to facilitate ongoing settlement discussions.” A judge has not yet ruled on the matter.
