Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz is on a mission to save a new-age Atlanta landmark known as the “Pink Trap House”. What originally started out as promotion for his hit album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, became a tourist attraction, multpurpose community center, and ultimately a landmark for those in the Atlanta area.

The Pink Trap House is now in jeopardy, due to it’s owner wanting to demolish it. In an effort to stop the destruction of the beloved house, 2Chainz has began campaigning for people to save the “Eiffel Tower of Atlanta”. When TMZ caught up with the Atlanta rapper, he was very passionate about preserving the house, and why it should remain.

“I don’t think they would knock down the Statue of Liberty. We changed the connotation of trap house from something negative to something that was considered positive. We held church services, art activities, AIDS testing, and all of that.”

Check out the rest of 2 Chainz’s statement on saving the Pink Trap House below.
