Chicago rapper G Herbo and Atlanta trap-producer Southside combine their talents for their newest release, “Swervo”, a collaboration that has been long-anticipated. With this project G Herbo aimed to combine the Chicago sound with the southern sound, and hopefully capture some of that same fanbase in the meantime. Herbo spoke on the collaboration in an interview with XXL Magazine.

“The Southside project…that’s going to be one of my biggest projects, hands down. It’s going to give me an entire different fan base. I feel like I’ll be capturing the entire South with that project. It’s all about timing and just strategizing, making sure we’re hitting A, B, C and all the way on to Z. I don’t want to skip no steps or force nothing. Everything got to be natural and organic.”

With how highly the rapper spoke of the collaboration, it makes perfect sense that this project has been so highly anticipated. Along with Southside, the project also features Young Thug, 21 Savage, Cheif Keef, and Juice Wrld. Listen to the complete project below.
