Kodak Black Set For Early Release From Jail

In April of 2018, Florida rapper Kodak Black was sentenced to a year in jail due to probation violations. Originally facing up to 12 years for being accused of being in the presence of marijuana and weapons, driving with a suspended license, and associating with criminals. Kodak wound up pleading guilty to  driving with a suspended license and associating with people committing crimes, and was ultimately sentenced to one year in Jail.

According to court documents, Kodak will now be released in August instead of October, due to the judge granting him an additional 30 days of time served , bringing his total to 120 days served. His official release date is recorded as August 18th.
