One of the biggest stars in the NFL, superstar Von Miller was tested for the coronavirus.
“After experiencing flu-like symptoms, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller has tested positive for COVID-19,” the team said. It is unclear when he was diagnosed but his agent Joby Branion confirmed that he’s
“at home resting and in good spirits.”
The Super Bowl 50 MVP is expected to speak about the diagnosis on Friday.
“Von has elected to share his diagnosis publicly to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with coronavirus. He is doing well and recovering at home in self-isolation. He remains under the care of team doctors, who are following all coronavirus treatment procedures to ensure a safe environment for Von and our community. Von is the first member of the Broncos’ organization known to have tested positive for COVID-19.”
Von’s announcement comes just one day after L.A. Rams center Brian Allen revealed that he too was also diagnosed with COVID-19. Allen mentioned he became concerned once he lost his sense of smell and taste. He is also in recovery.
