As we previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against her label 1501 Entertainment and CEO Carl Crawford.  Megan says she took the “extraordinary step” of filing for a restraining order because 1501 was ordering her distributor “not to release or distribute any of her new music”. Megan Thee Stallion who’s real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete; says that new music is set to be released today, Friday March 6; and legal action has to be taken as otherwise, she risks “irreparable injury” to her career. In response to the lawsuit, a Texas judge granted Pete a temporary restraining order against 1501, telling the label “to do nothing to prevent the release, distribution, and sale of Pete’s new records,” and “to refrain from threatening or posting any threatening any retaliatory social media posts or threats against Pete”. Megan previously told fans she had tried to change the terms of her deal with the label signing on with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management. “When I signed, I didn’t really know what was in my contract. I was young, I think I was, like, 20. So when I got with Roc Nation, I got management, real management,” she said. But even in the midst of all that, she did manage to release a new video at 12am for her latest single “B.I.T.C.H” … Take a look here >>> B.I.T.C.H VIDEO
