On Thursday night (Sept. 12), Young Thug hit up his Instagram timeline to share a new photo of himself in the hospital bed after his procedure wrapped up. He doesn’t specify what type of surgery he had or why he needed it. Nonetheless, it seems as though the Young Stoner Life chief is on the road to recovery.

“Surgery went well…back on niggas ass’s ‘PUNK,'” Young Thug wrote in his caption.



His surgery comes a little over a week after Thug posted an image of himself in a hospital bed to his Instagram Story. In the post, “The London” rapper shows his followers the IV that was put into his left arm. Thug didn’t offer much of an explanation for the hospital visit, but he gave his fans a possible reason.

“I think it’s cause I’m #1 still,” Thugger jokingly wrote in his IG story.

Young Thug seems like he’s recovering nicely from his recent surgery.

Young Thug’s apparent medical issues come after an extremely busy time in the rapper’s career. Within the last few weeks, the rapper has been doing the most to promote his new LP. The album, which features J. Cole, Future, Lil Baby, Gunna, Juice Wrld and more, debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
