Desiigner Must Pay Over $135,000 After Losing Defamation Lawsuit

A judge has recently ordered Desiigner to fork over more than $135,000 for a 2018 defamation lawsuit filed by a woman that claims he defamed her name and invaded her privacy via Instagram post.
Desiigner has to pay Jessica Brown $135,777.11 in the ruling. Reportedly, the judge took Brown’s side in the matter because Desiigner never contested her claims.
In the Instagram post in question, we find Desiigner calling out Brown for allegedly scamming his younger sister through her company, College Gurl.
“THIS GIRL IS A FRAUD,” Desiigner wrote in the since-deleted post. “TRIED TO SCAM ME INTO PAYING FOR MY SISTER TO GET INTO HOWARD UNIVERSITY AND NOW SHE IS TRYING TO HOLD MY SISTERS BELONGINGS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HER AND HER COLLEGE SCAMS!! WARNING STAY FROM THE SCAMMERS @ddaddys_girl202 @colleegegurljb.”
Desiigner has not yet commented on the judge’s ruling.
