As the year comes to an end, 21 Savage definitely has a reason to celebrate. The Atlanta MC’s I Am > I Was album is officially holding the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200. The project sold 131,000 equivalent album units in week one, according to Nielsen Music. That tally consisted of 18,000 worth of traditional album sales. As is the norm, the bulk of the album’s sales were driven by streams. This is 21’s first ever Billboard number 1, so congratulations are definitely in order.
