40,000 Fans Sign Petition To Have Tekashi 6ix9ine Released From Jail On Bail

It seems as though Tekashi 6ix9ine’s fans are still supporrting him even though he’s currently behind bars. His team created a petition to convince a judge to allow Tekashi to be released on bail, with a goal of 25,000 signaturesThe petition garnered massive support and totes almost 50,000 signatures currently.

The petition requests that Judge Paul A. Engelmayer grant Tekashi bail, and allow him to go home until his trial date, Sept. 4th, 2019. He faces federal racketeering and weapons charges, which could mean hard time for the Brooklyn rapper.

“This petition is made in regards to Hip Hop international Artist Daniel Hernandez stage name (Tekashi 69),” the description reads. “His Family , Fans , Friends & Supporters hope that the judge can grant this young man bail so he can get back with his family & continue to make great music for his fans while he fights this legal battle. Let’s show that this Rainbow hair rapper is a non threat to any community but is loved for all that he has done & the positive impact he has on others. We thank everyone for your love & support.”
