21 Savage Apologizes To Jewish Community For Lyrics On His Song "ASMR"

Baketball great LeBron James recently fell under some scrutiny after posting some 21 Savage lyrics that seemingly perpetuate Jewish stereotypes. Though 21 did not spit the bars maliciously, Lebron has apologized, and so has 21.
The lyric under the microscope comes from “ASMR” on 21’s new album I Am > I Was. “We been getting that Jewish money/Everything is Kosher.” raps 21. On Tuesday the Atlanta rapper took to Instagram to clarify what he meant and apologize for offending anyone.
“The Jewish people I know are very wise with there money. That’s why I said we been gettin Jewish money” 21 tweeted. “I never thought anyone would take offense I’m sorry if I offended everybody never my intention I love all people.”
