Love seems to be in the air this holiday season. Love and Hip-Hop star Safaree proposed to his girlfriend and fellow cast member Erica Mena last night on Christmas Eve (December 24th).

Safaree popped the question at Erica’s Atlanta home,  in front of their loved ones, according to TMZ. He reportedly set the scene with 20,000 rose petalsalong with 200 candles. He even called in R&B group 112 to perform “Cupid” and “Crazy Over You” for his new fiancee. Allegedly Safaree paid $175,000 for the large engagement ring, which consists of 14 carats in platinum. He also personally helped design the ring with Trax NYC.

Erica took to Instagram to express her excitement. “I’m absolutely the luckiest woman in the world ❤️,” she wrote. “A Man who has never been afraid to love me. A MAN who has been here and knows everything I been through. Everything before this- It no longer matters. ❤️Wedding date set.
