50 Cent recently took a break from his Instagram trolling and joking to post his heartfelt condolences regarding the recent death of a Power crew member. Pedro Jimenez died on Monday morning while setting up a scene for Power in Brooklyn. He was hit by a 2006 Ford Explorer truck as he was lining up parking cones on the set. After being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead. Jimenez had worked for the show since 2014.
Fif put out the Instagram post to pay his respects to Pedro after learning the sad news. “I just learned we lost Pedro Jimenez, a member of the Power production team early this morning,” he captioned beneath the all-black photo.”My prayers and condolences are with the entire Jimenez family”.
Next, Naturi Naughton, who plays Tasha St. Patrick on the show, also expressed her shock and sorrow on Instagram.
“Truly shocked and saddened!” she wrote. “Losing one of our own really hit home today! Tomorrow is not promised y’all! Live fully today! My thoughts and prayers are with the Jimenez family! #speechless #prayersUp.” Check out the posts below.
