Dame Dash & Lee Daniels Settle $5,000,000 Movie Loan Lawsuit

Music/business mogul Dame Dash and director Lee Daniels had a public falling out earlier this year over an unsettled financial situation. Dame loaned Lee $2,000,000 to get his film career off the ground, and Lee had yet to pay it back. Until now.
According to TMZ, Dame and Lee have reached an agreement in the lawsuit Dame filed.
Apparently they opted to settle the matter privately, instead of taking things to court. Dash allegedly lent Daniels the $2,000,000 for 2005 movie, Shadowboxer, making the loan debt over a decade old.
This prompted Dame to file a $5,000,000 lawsuit over the newly-publicized matter for interest and lost profits. After the argument went public, Daniels agreed to make nice on his debts, and has since done so.
We do not know the exact amount of the settlement, but Dame seems to be more than happy with it. “I’m good. Just happy two people from the culture could work things out.” Check out Daniels briefly speaking on the matter below.
