Tekashi 6ix9ine, his ex-manager Shottie, and two more former team members were arrested by federal agents this weekend, and hit with racketeering charges.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents picked up Tekashi, Shottie, Faheem Walter (Crippy) and one more team member in New York City. They all face the same racketeering and firearms charges. Authorities announced that the entire investigation was organized by the NYPD, ATF and the Department of Homeland Security.
The arrest follows even more of 6ix9ine’s recent legal and personal troubles. First he was luckily sentenced to probation instead of jail time for his May officer assault charge. The arrest also comes weeks after a shooting outside a New York City restaurant involving Shottie and the two affiliates. So far, there are no further updates on 6ix9ine’s status or the case.
