With a 20 year long, multi-faceted, multi-genre career, there’s no doubt that Snoop Dogg has achieved legendarystatus. Now the West Coast legend will become even more legendary.  Snoop is the latest recording artist to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Variety reports that Snoop is receiving the 2651st star on the Hollywood Walk. His customized star will sit in front of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! studio. Since the star will be located there, it’s only right that Jimmy Kimmel himself present Snoop with the prestigious honor. The special taped ceremony will take place on Nov. 19.

Snoop has released 17 studio albums, sold over 35 million albums worldwide, reached No. 1 on Billboard charts, and received almost 20 Grammy nominations. With a career like that, it’s no wonder the rap veteran is joining the walk of fame.
