Sheck Wes is on a constant ascent in his career. Recently, his breakout track “Mo Mamba,” was officially certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

According to the RIAA, “Mo Bamba” received the certification on October 30th. The party anthem is named after Mohamed Bamba, an NBA player who plays for the Orlando Magic. With Sheck’s trance-like melody and a a bass heavy, infectious beat, it’s no wonder the track has blown up the way it has.

Earlier this week, “Mo Mamba” also snagged the number 10 spot on the Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Which isn’t surprising, now that the track is certified platinum.

Sheck Wes is currenty on the Astroworld tour with Travis Scott, and he recently performed “Mo Bamba” on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. It doesn’t seem like things are slowing up for the New York rapper anytime soon!
