After receiving a sea of backlash from his latest actions, Kanye West has decided it is time to take a break from politics. Recently, conservative political commentator Candace Owens announced that Kanye West had helped design Blexit merchandise. The Blexit campaign sought to encourage Black people to stop supporting the democraic party. Kanye is now calling foul, and claiming that’s not what happened at all.

Kanye has stated that he doesn’t want any affiliation with the merchandise, and cleared up his involvement. “I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine”. Kanye says in one tweet. “I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”

Ye also went on to say that he was distancing himself  from polotics all together. “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in,” he tweeted. “I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!”
