Kodak Black is giving back again. After learning about South Carolina police officer Terrance Carraway, who was fatally shot earlier this month, he decided to make a donation to the officer’s family.
Officer Carraway and six other officials obtained injuries as they were responding to a sexual assault investigation. According to NBC, assailant Fred Hopkins began shooting at the officers once they entered his home. 3 of the deputies are now in critical condition. Unfortunately officer Carraway did not make it.
After hearing the news of the story, Kodak Black donated 2,500 to GoFundMe for Carraway’s family. He donated it under his real name, Bill Kapri. He also did not want any recognition for donating, but just wanted to help the family out. The GoFundMe has reached $57,000 of its $60,000 goal.
