Lil Wayne may just be having the greatest comeback we’ve seen in years. After half a decade of legal turmoil, and an inability to release albums, he finally broke free and released Tha Carter V. Not only did the album receive critical acclaim, but now it has just hit number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Tha Carter V moved 480,000 units in it’s first week of release, and has since been certified gold. In addition to the number one Billboard spot, the album also has had the third largest first sales week in all of 2018. As if that isn’t enough, Weezy also secured the second largest streaming week of the year with over 433 million streams. Congratulations are definitely in order for Mr. Carter.
