After the success of R&B singer Ella Mai’s hit song, “Boo’d Up“, the pressure to follow up with another hit was mounting. Ella Mai definitely delivered a strong follow up with her new song “Trip”, which she dropped the video for yesterday (September 18th).

In the new visual, the R&B songstress pours her heart out in series of performance scenes. First she puts on a vinyl record of the song “Trip”, presses play, and it begins. Then Ella begins expressing herself. As feelings build up, she then takes a journey to her beau’s house. After sitting in the car and continuing to pour her feelings out, she heads to a basket ball court to reflecct even more. Finally, Ella Mai heads home, coming to the conclusion that she was indeed “tripping” after all. Check out the “Trip” video below.
