VIDEO: Drake Appears Live at Stevie Wonder’s Holiday Benefit Concert
Drake repped for hip-hop and Toronto as the sole rapper on the bill at Stevie Wonder’s House Full of Toys benefit concert in L.A. Wearing an OVO T-shirt, the Canadian superstar stormed the stage with his hit “Headlines” followed by “Best I Ever Had.”
“I go by the name of Drake. I’m probably the only rapper you’ve ever met that’s trying to be a role model to your kids… That was said as a half-joke,” he told the packed crowd.
After his performance, Drizzy asked to share a moment with the evening’s host, who he worked with on “Doing It Wrong” off his sophomore album Take Care.
Drake also made the announcement of working with Justin Bieber in January
During his appearance at the concert, Drake shared the news. “Me and [Justin] are going in the studio in January to work on his new album, so I’m excited about that,” the Young Money rapper told the crowd of screaming fans.
In a previous interview with Capital FM, Bieber announced that Drake and Kanye West were among the contributors to his album.
