LL Cool J Set to Join the ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Cast

LL Cool J James Todd Smith, better known by his stage name, LL Cool J, is officially becoming part of the ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ ensemble. The creators of the popular crime drama television series have confirmed that the Hip-Hop icon will be a recurring guest star in the show’s third season. The addition of LL Cool J to the cast was met with great excitement by the production team. The ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ team expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “As long-time fans of LL Cool J, we’re thrilled and honored to welcome his extraordinary talent to our ‘ohana (family) for the upcoming third season.” The announcement follows the series finale of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles,’ which aired recently. LL Cool J portrayed the character of special agent Sam Hanna in the show. Vanessa Lachey, who stars as Jane Tennant in ‘NCIS: Hawai’i,’ expressed her delight at welcoming the renowned rapper to the team. She said, “The triple crossover with ‘NCIS’ and ‘NCIS: LA’ has been a delightful journey, spreading the spirit of aloha. Now, we have this incredible opportunity to bring Sam Hanna to Hawai’i to help unravel some cases and perhaps share a few laughs along the way. Welcome to our ohana, Todd! We’re set for an exciting journey!” LL Cool J first stepped into the ‘NCIS’ franchise in 2009.
